Reading course at Comics Centre
The reading course starts at the Comics centre this winter. During this course tools will be given to deeper analyse comic books, how they operate and how to dissect their inner mechanics. Every thursday one new book will be discussed over one hour Participating costs 10 euros per week for which you will also receive the book in question. All participants get the book one week in advance. Some books deserve further analysis so they will be discussed in two times. The comics reading course is held by Pitkämies Jelle Hugaerts. The course will be held in English. The first course day is 15.1. during which Pitkämies will give an introduction into book analysis and you will have the chance to take the first book with you home for next weeks reading.
Lukupiirit sarjakuvakeskuksella
Lukupiirit alkavat Sarjakuvakeskuksella talvella 2009. Lukupiireissä perehdytään syvemmin sarjakuvien kerrontamalleihin. Jokaisella kerralla on teemana uusi kirja, jota käsitellään yhden tunnin verran. Osa kirjoista vaatii syvempää paneutumista, joten niitä käsitellään kahtena torstaina. Yksi lukupiirikerta maksaa 10 euroa ja hintaan sisältyy aiheena oleva sarjakuva. Lukupiirin vetäjänä toimii itse pitkämies Jelle Hugaerts. Ensimmäinen lukupiiri kokoontuu 15.1. jolloin Pitkämies kertoo enemmän kirjojen analysoimisesta, ja jakaa ensimmäisen kirjan kotiin luettavaksi. Huom! Lukupiirit pidetään englanniksi
